Tourist Beach

The Tourist Beach is one of Port Harcourt’s oldest destinations and attractions. Commissioned in 1988, this beautiful beach has been the go-to location for relaxation, recreation and fun fair for residents and visitors alike. As at 2015, the Tourist Beach has become a shadow of itself.

Nevertheless, the Tourist beach is still a place worth visiting in Port Harcourt. Its peaceful and serene atmosphere is perfect for tourists to relax, play games and enjoy some cool sea breeze. There is also a museum within the beach; and a guide is available to show tourists around the interesting artifacts on display.
